There are no contact with other guests during the stay and no sharing of equipment with other guests. And our staff is not stationed at the inn. In order to reduce staff contact with customers,

This more than eighty-year history Machiya was renovated and equipped with new facilities while its traditional style was preserved.

Depending on the number of customers, 2 to 5 traditional futon bedding will be prepared.Bedrooms are air-conditioned.

We have a simple kitchen with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle and rice cooker. We also offer coffee and tea.
Towels / Bath amenities
Towels for each guest are available in the bathroom. Bath amenities and a hair dryer are also provided. Pajamas and Yukata are not available. Please bring your own.

The comfortable living room has a low table, comfortable seating cushions and 32-inch flat-screen TV.

HOW TO STAY
From Kyoto station to Kyoto miyabi inn by Subway
Please take subway Karasuma Line from Kyoto station to Karasuma Oike station, then change to Tozai Line to Higashiyama station. Take No. 2 exit and turn left to Furukawa Shopping arcade. Go straight and turn left at the second intersection.
From Osaka to Kyoto by Train
HanKyu Train Kyoto Line
Please take the train to Shijo Kawaramachi station and take exit No.6 . Change to bus No.201 (Gion ,Direction), No.203 (Ginkakuji Temple direction), or No.46 (Heian Jingu Shrine direction) to Higashiyama Sanjo station. Please refer to the map to reach Kyoto-Miyabi Inn.
Keihan Train Kyoto Line
Please take the train to Sanjo station. From the station you will arrive in Furukawa-cho shopping street in the east along Sanjyo street in about 10 minutes on foot or change to Subway Tozai Line to Higashiyama station.
From Kyoto station to Kyoto miyabi inn by Bus
Take any of the following buses and get off at Higashiyama Sanjo station.
No. 100: Ginkakuji Temple Via Kiyomizu-dera Temple (D1 boarding area)
No. 206: Kitaoji Bus Terminal Via Daitokuji Temple (D2 boarding area)
No. 5: Ginkakuji Temple Via Heian-jingu Shrine (A1 boarding area)
By Car
From JR Kyoto Station approximately 15 minutes.
From Meishin Expressway Kyoto east I.C. approximately 20 minutes.
From Kyoto south I.C. approximately 30 minutes.
There is no parking lot in our inn. Please use nearby coin parking.
Kyoto Miyabi Inn stay is a one-day-one-group guest house system, which means you will have the whole guest house to yourselves. Different from other inns or hotels, our staff will not be around at the guesthouse most of the time.
Thus please follow the procedures during your stay here.

Reservation by inquiry from our website and reservation from hotel reservation site are accepted.

After confirming the costomer information, we will contact you by e-mail.We will send you an e-mail with explanation of the invoice and the settlement method to pre-settlement with online payment system.After confirming the customer's payment, reservation is completed.When check-in dates are approaching, we will send information such as check-in method and map in the vicinity.
Check-in and check-out

Our Check-in time from 15:00 to 18:00. Please kindly let us know when you estimate your arrival time. Our staff will briefly guide you through the environment and check-in process once you arrived at Kyoto Miyabi Inn. Please be noted by the regulation of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, all guests must provide their passport during check-in to make photocopies for identification purposes. If you would like early luggage drop-off before check-in time, Please contact us in advance.

If you arrive later than 20:00, MAKE SURE TO contact us. We would like to tell you the CODE for entrance.

Since our staff are not based at Kyoto Miyabi Inn, if you need further assistance, please contact us either by email or phone,Facebook Messenger, etc. Our check-out time is until 11:00, You can check-out anytime by yourself. Our staff will not be there when you check-out. If you want to drop-off your luggage after checkout, please use the coin locker at the nearest station.
Guesthouse Policy
Kyoto Miyabi Inn is a traditional Japanese Machiya entirely made of wood with more than 80 years of history. Thus please make sure that you follow the rules below.

For safety, all devices and articles that can lead to fire are prohibited at Miyabi. Since the guesthouse is made of wood and it is located in a residential area, smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside of Miyabi. If you get caught smoking, you will be asked to pay the fine according to the Kyoto City Public Area Non-smoking Law.

Please stay quiet after 10pm. Since it is located in a residential area, making loud noises or partying can cause inconvenience to the neighbors.

Our housekeeper will come daily between 11:00 and 13:00,there is no need to be present.
